OpenSearch 3 is available on ClusterNest

OpenSearch 3.0 and 3.1 can now be selected on ClusterNest clusters. It is the first major release since 2.0, rebased on Lucene 10 and requiring Java 21, so it is a version worth reading the notes for before you move.

A major version means removals as well as additions. Settings and APIs deprecated across the 2.x line are gone in 3.0, and plugins built against 2.x need their 3.x build. If you have a cluster that has been running since early 2.x, read the OpenSearch 3.0 announcement before you pick it rather than after.

Existing clusters stay on the version they are on. Nothing is upgraded underneath you, and 2.x remains selectable.
